Founding member, Reggie Jay’s southern roots run deep through the hills of east Tennessee. Her writing reflects the affection she has for the South. She is fascinated by the idiosyncrasies of the humor, stubbornness, and traditions of southern folks.
Reggie is a member of the Chattanooga Writers Guild and the Knoxville Writers Guild. Her short story, “The Green Car” can be found in the 2008 Chattanooga/Cleveland Christmas Collection. She wrote this short piece to draw attention to children in foster care, an issue she feels strongly about. Reggie is currently editing her first completed novel and is in the process of outlining chapters for her second.
Reggie is married to the love of her life, Rusty, and is the blessed mom of three daughters. Six beautiful grandchildren call her NanaGG and they bring more joy than she thought possible. Grandchildren rock!!
